Description

The Vulcan “H Series” Fire & Burglary Safe model UHFB2120IV is painted an attractive high gloss ivory white while offering burglary resistive features and a two hour fire rating.  These fireproof safes are certified for two hours of 2000°F fire protection and carry a Class 350 Independent Laboratory Fire Test Label.  The composite constructed 3 ¾” door features a single ¼” steel plate with a 1 ¾” layer of solid fire insulation that is encased between two additional 1/8” steel plates.  Also composite constructed in the same manner; the body of the safe features a 1 ¾” layer of solid fire insulation that is encased between two 1/8” steel plates. The door and door frame are each equipped with a heat activated seal to help keep heat out in the event of a fire. When exposed to heat, these seals will expand thus “sealing” the door to the safe. The locking side of the safe door is secured by two massive 1 ½” chrome plated solid steel locking bolts and are protected against “bolt punching” with a “V” shaped hardened steel plate that is molded into the door frame. The hinge side of the door is manufactured with a formed full length dead docking bar that helps to secure the door against tampering or removal of its heavy duty steel block hinges.  This safe comes standard with a UL Listed LaGard Group II combination lock that is protected against drill attempts with a drill resistant hard plate and a spring loaded re-locking bolt.  The door is operated by a solid steel tri-spoke handle and will open in a smooth and effortless manner due to the addition of ball bearings between the hinges.  This safe comes with two fully adjustable carpeted shelves, which can be removed, to allow for better usage of storage space within the safe.  For additional security of both the safe and all valuable contents there is a single recessed pre-drilled ½” diameter anchor hole located on the bottom wall inside the safe.  This safe is ideal for both the office and home and is suitable for securing jewelry, money, important documents and hand guns.
